I seeded just the other weekend. Got a small greenhouse, that's easily taken apart and put together. Of course again this year, I ended up seeding directly outside, why not with the weather having been so
warm. So again, we'll go with survival of the fittest as there has been a few nights of frost since. Mostly they should be fine I think. I will get some pictures later on and post on my blog, with a list of
what I seeded. Update by Friggjasetr
Since this has been an unusually warm winter/spring...I took a gamble and put out tomato plants a few weeks ago. I do have them set up in a hoop house, which I can cover, should there be a need. I have been able to do SO much planting and gardening...much are just coming up! I also have allotted a space of 3'x8' garden for each of my kiddos to learn in. So far, they have picked out purple carrots and some wonderful flowers. Update by CMonetGarden
I have been having a lot of fun in my garden this year. Due to the milder temperatures, I have gotten many items out a little earlier this year. Mind you, I do have a back up plan in place...a hoop house! So far I have onions, potatoes, garlic, tomatoes and several herbs. I am already expanding a little bit in the back for beans, cucumbers, squash and ???
I am in an area that grows mushrooms, and part of their "waste" is mushroom compost! I am trying a little of that! Update by CMonetGarden
